What We Do

Founded in 2024 by Geoffrey, Andrew, and Charles Kump, Helping the Heartland exists to remove barriers to funding for grassroots organizations making a real impact in our community. Many small groups and individuals are dedicating their time, resources, and energy to meet urgent needs, but they often lack the structure or capacity to secure funding. That’s where we come in. Our nonprofit secures grants and donations so these changemakers can stay focused on their work—helping people, not chasing dollars. By streamlining the funding process, we ensure that critical resources go directly to those making a difference, without the administrative burden
